Spares Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your order of spare part(s) via our website or telephony service. We strongly recommend that you read these Terms and Conditions carefully before ordering any spare part(s). Please note that by ordering any spare part(s), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Terms of Contract
When you place an order with Glen Dimplex Home Appliances it will be treated as an offer to buy spare part(s). Once the order is placed we will send you an email confirmation receipt. If we accept your order, we will dispatch the product(s) to you. We will send you an email to confirm dispatch at which point we make a legal contract with you.
Provided your chosen product(s) is available to order, we will process your payment and provide an order confirmation number at the time we take your telephone order. We do not send confirmation emails to telephone customers.

We are Glen Dimplex Home Appliances Limited (“GDHA” or “we” or “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 02692306 and with our registered office at Stoney Lane, Prescot, Merseyside, L35 2XW. Our VAT number is GB 287 131 550.
At the time of placing the order you warrant that:
- you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and making payments;
- you (and the recipient of the item if applicable) are at least 18 years old, and
- you fully accept the contract terms and conditions.
All prices are quoted in £ Sterling, inclusive of VAT. The details of the delivery options and costs are in the Delivery Information section. We may modify the price of item(s) from time to time (but not after) we accept your order. If we discover an error in the price we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of continuing to order the item(s) or cancelling your order.
We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards along with, Visa debit, Visa Electron and Maestro debit cards. We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once your card details have been checked.
Spare part(s) specifications
Manufacturer’s names are used for reference purposes only. We offer genuine parts made by the manufacturer as well as generic parts which are listed as compatible with the manufacturer's model. Published product details, specifications and suitability information is the best available at the time, usually provided by the product's manufacturer. While we will use reasonable endeavors to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. Please note that information contained in this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. All liability of GDHA howsoever arising for any such inaccuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In the event that you are unable to find the product you require we will endeavor to identify the part for you provided you supply us with details of your requirements and your contact details by completing the form on our website.
We encourage you to ensure all parts are fitted by a competent person using the correct tools and test equipment and with the appliance disconnected from the mains supply. After repair, the appliance must be checked for electrical safety by a competent person and for gas safety by a Gas Safe registered engineer. GDHA accept no liability for any damage caused by the fitting of a spare part(s).
Where a manufacturer offers a guarantee on a product, this may be conditional on repairs being performed by a qualified and/ or appointed technician. Please ensure that you have read your product's manual and warranty conditions before attempting to install a part or otherwise repair your appliance. We accept no liability if the appliance is damaged or your warranty is voided.
Spare parts availability and delivery
We will do our best to get the spare part(s) to you as quickly as possible within the quoted times, and as such GDHA have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of any items ordered through us. If you have ordered multiple items they may still be dispatched separately.
In the rare event of a part being temporarily unavailable our Customer Care team will contact you in order to agree an alternative date or contact schedule. In the event that the part required is obsolete our Customer Care team may be able to assist you with a resolution and a refund for the obsolete part.
You will have the right to cancel your order and request a Returns Management Authorisation (RMA) number within fourteen (14) days, beginning on the day after you received the item(s). All returns require a RMA from us, you can request this by contacting our Customer Care team. The details of our Customer Care team are stated on our website. Once the request for return has been made this will be verified and if accepted, your RMA number will be issued to you in the form of a letter. You must return your item(s) within fourteen (14) days of your RMA number being issued.
Should you change your mind or the item is no longer required, the item(s) that you return must be un-used or fitted and it must still be in its original packaging. If it is not, then we are unable to progress a refund. For quality reasons we have to inspect the item(s) you have returned, to ensure they have been returned to us in full and in good condition. Upon completing a satisfactory validation of the item(s) returned and provided that you return your item(s) in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, we will arrange a refund to you for the item minus the postage costs. Please note that the costs of returning your item(s) must be paid by you.
You will be responsible for the returned items until they reach us. Please ensure that you retain proof of postage for your item, this will be required in the event that goods are lost in transit.
Refunds are processed within 28 working days of receipt of the returned item(s). Refunds are made using the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase.
If you receive faulty part(s)
If an item arrives damaged or faulty then simply return the item(s) back to us within thirty (30) days of the receipt of the item(s) and we will send out a replacement or refund as necessary.
If there is a fault with your product or other defect with your order within six (6) months of delivery, we will normally offer a replacement or repair.
On returning faulty items ensure you comply with the returns guidelines as set out above. Failure to meet these conditions may result in your return not qualifying for a refund or replacement.
This guarantee does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, inexpert fitting, misuse or normal wear and tear.
If the correct product is ordered & the wrong item(s) delivered
If you suspect that you have received the wrong parts, please do not attempt to fit or return until you have contacted us. You should let us know of the problem first so we could assist you with a resolution.
Limitation on our Liability
Glen Dimplex Home Appliances will not consider claims in respect of compensation for loss of use of the appliance or consequential losses or expenses of any kind under this Contract. Such claims are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims.

All rights, including copyright and database right, in the GDHA website and its contents, are owned by or licensed to GDHA, or otherwise used by GDHA as permitted by applicable law.
In accessing GDHA web pages, you agree that you will access the contents solely for your own private use or for providing information to your business (permitted use) but not for any commercial or public use. You can download and use the service on a single CPU at a time and you can print out a single hard copy of any part of the content on the GDHA website for the above permitted use. Except for permitted use above, you undertake not to copy, store in any medium (including in any other website), distribute, transmit, re-transmit, broadcast, modify, or show in public any part of the GDHA website without the prior written permission of GDHA or in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. We may transfer our rights and obligations under this agreement to another organisation, and we will always notify you in writing if this happens, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under this agreement.
If any of these Terms and Conditions are found illegal or unenforceable such term shall, insofar as it is severable from the remaining terms, be deemed omitted from these terms and shall in no way affect the legality, validity or enforceability of the remaining terms which shall continue in full force and effect.
No failure or delay by us or you to exercise any right or remedy provided under these Terms and Conditions or by law shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy, nor shall it prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy. No single or partial exercise of such right or remedy shall prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.
You acknowledge that you have placed no reliance on any representation made but not set out expressly in these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the laws of England and Wales and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Where the service is to be performed in Scotland, this contract shall be constructed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, and both parties agree to submit to the non-executive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
Please note that we amend these terms from time to time. Please check these terms before ordering to ensure you understand the terms which will apply at that time.
