Earl Grey Ice Cream

Method

You can’t celebrate St George’s Day without honouring the unofficial national drink - tea! This is a ‘no churner needed’ recipe that’s creamy, thick and infused with Earl Grey tea. It’s super quick to make, so you can enjoy it in the sun as the days get warmer.

  1. In a pan, bring 1 cup of water to the boil and add the Earl Grey tea bags. Leave to brew for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the bags and allow the tea to cool down.
  3. Add the condensed milk, cream, orange juice and tea into a blender.
  4. Blend until the mixture is thick and creamy.
  5. Pour into a loaf tin or suitable container then pop into the freezer.
  6. Freeze for 3 hours. Scoop out and enjoy!

  • 1 litre double cream

  • 3 Earl Grey tea bags

  • Juice of 1 orange
