Banana Berry Smoothie

Method

Fancy a speedy smoothie? With a little pre-preparation, you can have a delicious, ice-cold glass of goodness ready in no time. Here's one of our favourite smoothie recipes. but you can include any fruit or veg combination you like. Simply prepare portions of your chosen ingredients and freeze into tubs, containers or bags ready to top into the blender.

  1. Tip your frozen ingredients into a blender.
  2. Add the yogurt and apple juice to the mixture and blend until smooth. Add honey to taste.
  3. Pour into a glass or travel cup and enjoy!

  • For the freezer:

  • 1 banana, sliced

  • 1 glass mixed berries

  • A handful of oats

  • A handful of nuts and seeds

  • To blend:

  • 2 tbsp natural yoghurt, heaped

  • 1 glass apple juice

  • Honey
