• The competition is open to children up to 10 years old (on and including 3rd April 2012 ).
  • There are four competition categories – two and under, 3-5 years, 6-8 years and 9-10 years.
  • Entries can be made by Parents/Guardians via the Lec Fridge Art Flickr group, post or email.
  • Anyone entering via post should include a stamped addressed envelope if they would like their pictures to be returned.
  • If entering by post please include a contact name and telephone number.
  • All entries should include an age category (eg two and under, 3-5 years, 6-8 years or 8-10 years) and whether the entry is from a boy/girl.
  • By entering your child’s artwork you agree to it appearing on the Flickr group, the Lec website and Lec’s social channels eg Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  • By submitting your child’s artwork you also agree to it being used for PR purposes.
  • Lec reserves the right to remove any inappropriate content from the Flickr feed.
  • The competition is open to entries until Tuesday 31st of July 2012.
  • An expert judging panel will select the pictures in each age category to go forward to a two week Facebook vote to be hosted on Lec’s Facebook page.
  • All finalists will be contacted ahead of the Facebook vote going live.
  • All finalists who agree to take part in the Facebook vote agree to the their child’s picture being used for PR purposes and for the picture to be featured in a museum exhibition if they are one of the eight winners.
  • There will be one boy and one girl winner in each of the four age categories. The boy and girl images in each age category with the most votes at the end of the two week period will be declared the winner.
  • Each of the winners will receive a Lec R5010 fridge featuring their child’s winning picture.
  • Lec withholds the right to change any of the prizes if they are unavailable for a similar product of a similar value. The prize includes delivery to a UK mainland address, but does not include installation or removal of existing appliances. The prize is as stated and no alternative or cash alternative is offered.
  • The eight winning images will also be displayed on fridges and featured in a museum exhibition – details tbc.
  • If entering via Flickr please ensure you have already uploaded a minimum of 5 public images to your account. After that minimum is reached your entry will be visible in the Flickr feed.
  • The eight winners will be asked to take part in PR activity around the competition.
